A piece about affection, expectation and the strange little currencies we sometimes use when trying to connect with another person.
The work explores the idea of giving gifts or gestures in the hope of receiving love in return, and how our understanding of those exchanges can change with time, experience and perspective.
A painting about connection, intention and the emotional weight we attach to the things we give.
