How Cave Drops Work

Most collections at Arkay's Art Cave are released as limited-time Cave Drops using a preorder system. Instead of filling shelves with excess stock, each drop is produced to match the number of orders placed during the preorder window.

It helps reduce waste, maintain quality, and gives me more time to create the next Cave Drop.

If this is your first Cave Drop, welcome! Here's exactly what to expect from the moment the gate opens until your order arrives.

Every Cave Drop is Different

Every Cave Drop is built around an original collection of artwork.

Some drops may include clothing, prints, stickers and other limited items, while future drops may introduce completely new creations. Every release tells its own story, bringing something new into the cave for a limited time.

How a Cave Drop Works

1. The Gate Opens

A new Cave Drop becomes available for a limited preorder period.

2. You Place Your Order

Choose your favourite items and complete your order before the gate closes. Your preorder guarantees your items will be produced and reserved for you.

3. The Gate Closes

Once the preorder window ends, production begins. Every preorder is fulfilled before any remaining stock is made available.

4. Production Begins

Your items are produced by trusted manufacturing partners using the artwork from that Cave Drop.

5. Packed with Care

Once production arrives, every order is personally checked, carefully packed, and prepared for shipping.

6. The Journey Begins

When your parcel leaves the cave, you'll receive a shipping confirmation so you can follow it all the way to your doorstep.

Why Cave Drops?

Cave Drops let me focus on creating art instead of managing shelves full of stock.

Producing to order helps reduce unnecessary waste, keeps each collection feeling special, and gives me more time to create new artwork instead of managing large amounts of inventory.

Will There Be Extras?

Preordering is the best and only guaranteed way to secure your items.

Occasionally, a small number of extra products may be produced for conventions, the tattoo studio, replacements, or future online availability. If any extras remain after all preorder customers have received their orders, they'll be made available while stocks last.

Estimated Timeframes

Every Cave Drop will be a little different, but here's what you can usually expect:

• Preorder window: 14 days

• Production: Approximately 2 to 4 weeks after the preorder closes

• Packing and shipping: Usually within a few days of receiving stock

If anything changes along the way, updates will always be shared as soon as possible.
